Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan in an interview with CNBC denied the existence of a diplomatic crisis between his country and Lebanon amid the expulsion of the Lebanese ambassador from Riyadh.

"I don't think I would call it a crisis. These comments by the Lebanese minister rather show how dominant the Iranian-backed Hezbollah group is in Lebanese politics," the Saudi Foreign Minister said.

According to the Minister, cooperation with Beirut is currently useless for Riyadh and does not meet its international interests.

The conflict broke out at the end of October after Lebanese Information Minister Georg Kordahi in an interview called the military operation in Yemen led by Saudi Arabia and the UAE an act of aggression, and the war itself in the Arab country useless.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that NATO is unwilling to establish a dialogue with Moscow, TASS reports.

Following the G20 summit in Rome, Lavrov answered a question from journalists whether there were signals from the North Atlantic Alliance about the need to establish a dialogue.

"We have no information about what NATO is going to do. We rely on facts, and the facts are that NATO does not want any interaction with us," the Foreign Minister said.

Earlier, Lavrov said that the alliance is playing "very dangerous games", trying to expand to the whole world. "We will do everything to resist such trends," the minister assured and admitted that diplomatic work in this direction cannot be done.
